Jackson Nevers

Jackson Nevers represents what BUDDY Hockey Club is all about: trusting your path, putting in the work, and becoming the kind of person and player others want beside them. A native of Edina, Minnesota, Jackson grew up in one of the most competitive hockey environments in the country. He captained Edina to a Minnesota Class AA State Championship, was a finalist for Minnesota’s Mr. Hockey Award, and continued his development in the USHL with Waterloo and Madison. His leadership followed him to the next level, serving as captain of the Madison Capitols before continuing his hockey journey with the University of Minnesota. But Jackson’s story is bigger than a résumé. He plays with pace, compete, toughness, and purpose. More importantly, he understands that the way you carry yourself away from the rink matters just as much as what you accomplish on it. Jackson embodies the mindset behind BUDDY: stay committed to your journey, support the people around you, and never forget that everyone’s path looks different.

Current goaltender at Dartmouth University, a Richter Award Semi-Finalist, All ECAC Second Team, and prospect of the Montreal Canadiens. A passionate competitor with a refined swagger on the ice rarely seen in goaltenders, Emmett’s presence in the crease can be felt around the entire arena. Our team is about character first. People and players that embody the culture and push it ahead. Steadfast in the crease, leading by example, and electrifying style. We’re proud to welcome him into BUDDY Hockey Club — not just wearing it, but living it.

Logan Renkowski

Logan Renkowski represents everything BUDDY Hockey Club believes in: believing in yourself, embracing your path, and continuing to work when the road isn't always straightforward. Logan's journey is a reminder that development doesn't happen on one timeline. After beginning his USHL career with Cedar Rapids, his path took him to the NAHL with the New Jersey Jr. Titans before earning his way back to the USHL with the Sioux Falls Stampede. Then he took off. During the 2025–26 season, Logan scored 43 goals and 63 points in 60 games, became a captain in Sioux Falls, and helped lead the Stampede to a Clark Cup Championship. He added eight goals in 13 playoff games during that championship run. Now, his journey continues at the University of Vermont, where he begins the next chapter of his career as a Catamount. But what makes Logan such a natural fit for BUDDY goes beyond goals, championships, or what comes next. His story is about maturity, perseverance, self-belief, and staying committed to your own development. It's about understanding that someone else's path doesn't have to be yours. Sometimes the setbacks, changes, and uncertainty become the most important parts of the journey. Keep working. Keep believing. Keep moving forward.
